Akemi is growing!

Just after the start of its second year of trading, Akemi Associates has appointed a new Director, Rhys Harrison. Rhys joins the business with extensive experience in Public and Private Sector Senior Programme and Project Management. More recently, Rhys has been working in the field of employment services, mentoring and mental health awareness. He will be responsible for Akemi’s Corporate and Social Responsibility activities, in addition to project management and IT. Says Susan Brench, Akemi Associates’ Founder; “I am delighted that Rhys has come on board. His appointment will add substantial diversity to Akemi’s offering, and underpin some of our existing work. I am confident that our clients will benefit from Rhys’ expertise”. Amongst his CSR activities, Rhys is working with the City of York Council’s Safer Suicide Community Delivery Group and supporting City of York Local Area Co-ordinators. In his spare time he is a keen golfer and plays team tennis.
